TERMS OF SERVICE
Draft pending legal review. Last updated: 28 October 2026.

1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use TidyTill (the "Service"), provided by Katie Arnold, trading as TidyTill, a sole trader in the UK
("we", "us"). Contact: hello@tidytill.co.uk.
By uploading files or paying you agree to them. The Service is for business record-keeping by
people aged 18 or over.

2. What the Service does and does not do
2.1 The Service reads exports you upload from marketplaces and payment platforms and produces a
spreadsheet ("Workbook") that summarises income and costs by Making Tax Digital quarter.
2.2 It is a record-keeping aid only. It does not submit anything to HMRC, is not MTD-compatible
software, and is not tax, legal or accounting advice. You are responsible for checking the figures,
for what you submit to HMRC and for using HMRC-recognised software to submit.
2.3 The Workbook depends on the accuracy and completeness of the files you upload. Items we cannot
classify are flagged in the Health Check rather than guessed.

3. Free preview and payment
3.1 You can see a free preview (headline totals and Health Check) before paying.
3.2 Prices are shown in pounds sterling before you pay. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
Payment is taken by Stripe.
3.3 One-off purchase: unlocks the Workbook for that upload. Annual plan: unlocks Workbooks for uploads
made with the same email address during the subscription year. It renews automatically each year until
cancelled; you can cancel at any time by emailing hello@tidytill.co.uk, effective at the end of the paid year.

4. Your right to cancel (consumers)
If you are buying as a consumer, you have 14 days to cancel. Because the Workbook is digital content
supplied immediately, you will be asked to agree to immediate supply and to acknowledge that you lose
the right to cancel once the download is available. If a Workbook is faulty we will fix it or refund you.

5. Your files and data
5.1 You confirm you are entitled to upload the files.
5.2 Uploaded files are deleted once the Workbook is built; Workbooks and previews are deleted 24 hours
after upload. Download your Workbook within that time.
5.3 Data processing terms: where your files contain personal data about your customers, you are the
controller and we are your processor. We will process it only to produce your Workbook, keep it secure,
use only the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Notice, help you respond to data subject requests,
tell you without undue delay about any personal data breach affecting it, and delete it as set out in
5.2.

6. Acceptable use
Do not upload malware, files you have no right to use, or attempt to access other users' jobs or
overload the Service.

7. Liability
7.1 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud,
or anything that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
7.2 For business customers, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months
before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or penalties or interest charged
by HMRC arising from figures you submitted.

8. Changes and availability
We may update the Service or these terms; changes apply to future purchases. We aim to keep the Service
available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted.

9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland
may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
